Plan to arrive about 30 minutes before the service you normally attend to meet the team and get a feel for how it all works. Come discover how simple - and meaningful - it can be to help others feel at home at Good Shepherd!

Handyman/Woman Opportunities

It has been suggested that some people in the Congregation may need help with small maintenance jobs around the house. If you are one of those, let us know and we will see if we can help you  OR  if you are able to make small repairs (this maybe a father/son or mother/daughter teaching experience) and would like to help in this manner, please contact Dudley Stone at 310/427.9631.

Food Finders

Food Finders have received a grant to help the low-income folks with food since the government won't be giving the SNAP food funds on the first of November as usual. As a result, volunteers are needed to help sort and distribute food at Admiral Kidd Park on these Saturdays: 8th, 15th, 29th - December 6th, 13th, and 20th
If you can volunteer between 8 and 11am any of those days, please let Arlene Mercer know at 562/714.1155.
