Christmas Eve Worship Gatherings

We welcome everyone to join us on Wednesday, December 24th in the Sanctuary for our Christmas Eve Worship Gatherings. The Family Christmas Eve Service will be at 4pm, and the Traditional Candlelight Worship Service at 7pm. We will gather for worship on Sunday, December 28th for one service at 10am in the Sanctuary. All gatherings will be livestreamed online at gspc.org.

Advent Devotional

We have run out of physical copies of our Advent Devotional - Darkness Then Light. If you would like to download a digital copy you can do so here! These are stories of illumination which contain vivid portraits of humanity, steeped in the aching depths of darkness and the vibrant births of new light - two realities that permeate and shape our existence. The hope is to reflect on these personal stories of darkness and light, reminding us of the predawn moments of your own life and rejoice in the light that never fails to arrive in hope and glory.

Office Closure

The office will be closed from Wednesday, Christmas Eve, December 24th at noon through Thursday, January 1st, 2026.

Please submit all announcements or changes for the Weekly of December 28th and January 4th by Monday, noon, December 22nd.

Undeck the Halls

Helpers are needed at noon, following the second worship gathering on Sunday, January 4th to take down our wonderful Christmas adornments. A light lunch will be served.

Backyard Harvest

Let's harvest that fresh fruit and make use of God's bounty! Backyard Harvest is a food rescue program which works with Food Finders to utilize the delicious fruit that could go to waste on your trees. You can help by donating your fruit, volunteering to harvest fruit, or picking up and delivering it to the community organizations. Please call or text Kathy Faith at 714/747.7965 or Coco Miller at 714/595.9814. Thank you.

Giving Envelopes

Pick up your Weekly or Monthly Giving Envelopes on the table in the Narthex.

Pledge Your Support 2026

Pledge your financial support to Good Shepherd in 2026 with a pledge card in the Narthex or at the office.

Food Finders

Food Finders have received a grant to help low-income folks with food since the government won't be giving the SNAP food funds on the first of November as usual. As a result, volunteers are needed to help sort and distribute food at Admiral Kidd Park on Saturday, December 20th.
If you can volunteer between 8 and 11am, please let Arlene Mercer know at 562/714.1155.
