April 24th - Parent's Night Out

Bring your scooters or tricycles and helmets (required) so that you can join in on some parking lot races - Wreck-It-Ralph style!! Decorate your scooters before you come or use our supplies when you arrive. Dinner, candy bar, and movie included. Parents simply drop off at 5pm and return by 8pm and we take care of the rest. Join the Good Shepherd Family!

On Sunday, May 3rd, we are inviting everyone who is not yet an official member of Good Shepherd to come to an interest/orientation meeting for New Covenant Partners. During this time, we'll enjoy good food and conversations together, explore what it means to be a covenant partner, learn about Good Shepherd's core beliefs and priorities, and answer any questions you might have about the Christian faith and/or the Presbyterian Church (ECO: A Covenant Order of Evangelical Presbyterians). Rainforest Falls VBS 2026 - Open for Registration

Kids (PreK-5th Grade) are invited to Rainforest Falls VBS July 20th-24th, where kids will trek into field-tested rotations such as bible, music, crafts, and science that reinforce relevant Bible Points and immerse kids in new adventures. Registration is open, sign up before we are full! $40/kid gspc.org/kids.

Precept Upon Precept - The Book of Revelation

Precept Class is held each Wednesday from 6:35-8pm in Room #4. The book of Revelation is an amazing opportunity to take the time to be with God and build a great relationship and learn about the end times. We will be starting the second workbook of the Revelation study at the end of April. There can be up to five hours of homework per week. Dirtbags vs Oregon State Baseball Game

Take me out to the ball game! Join us at Blair Field as the CSULB Dirtbags take on Oregon State, Friday, May 8th at 6pm. Tickets are $15 per person. Sign up online or at the table on the Plaza. 

Faith At Four (45) - "Just Jonah"

Join us on Wednesday, April 29th at 4:45pm in the Choir Room as we dive deeper into the Book of Jonah. Come prepared to answer our Jonah Trivia Challenge questions. We will explore more of Jonah, his story, God's mercy, and grace. Bring a friend and stay for dinner on the Plaza and classes afterwards. 

Women's Spring Luncheon - Saturday, May 2nd

Join us on Saturday, May 2nd at 11:30am for a time of fellowship as we dive into what it means to be Rooted in Christ, the theme this year. Anne Mallari from We Care will be our featured speaker. Tickets ($20) will be available at the Women's Ministry table on the Plaza. 

Prime Time Luncheon

We are blessed to have JoJo Weingert and the Hui O'Hula dancers perform after our luncheon on Thursday, May 7th at 12 noon in Zirbel Hall. Wear your favorite Hawaiian outfit as we celebrate and enjoy our time together. Cost: $8.00 per person. Sign up at the Senior Ministry table on the Plaza. 

Senior Game Night

Friday, May 1st is the day to get together again for fun and fellowship! Join us in the Fireside Room at 6:30pm. 

Blankets of Love - Quilters

Blankets of Love is looking for a few people who would like to chat and help work on blankets the second Monday morning of the month from 10am to noon in the Round Room #4. Rising Tide's 9th Annual Charity Golf Tournament

Volunteers Needed

Saturday, May 9th, is national "Stamp Out Hunger Day" which the US Post Office holds each year. This is a family friendly event that Food Finders has at the Seal Beach Post Office at 2929 Westminster Blvd. (hear the corner of Seal Beach Blvd. and Westminster) for a shift from noon to 2pm. Twenty-five volunteers are needed. You can sign up at the Local Missions Table on Sundays or call Arlene for more details at 562/714.1155.
