Good Shepherd - Week of May 10th, 2026

Sunday Worship

Join us this Sunday as we continue our series through the book of Jonah, a story about resisting God, wrestling with grace, and discovering that God's mercy reaches further than we expect. Come explore what happens when God refuses to give up on both the prophet and the people he was sent to at the 9am and 10:45am worship gatherings in person, or the livestream option directly from our website at (gspc.org).

Although there is some confusion among historians about the origins of this Sunday's  choral anthem, "My Jesus, I Love Thee," one thing is clear. This beloved hymn gently reminds us to renew our devotion to God and to reflect on what He has accomplished for us through the sacrifice of our Lord Jesus Christ.

Wecome to Deacons' Corner - Memorial Receptions

When the time comes to honor a loved one with a memorial at Good Shepherd, we have three Deacons who are here to help with the reception following the service. These servants, along with a host of volunteers, do their best to make what can be a difficult time into a beautiful event with their families and friends. We are grateful for our faithful cookie makers Ann Bonyea, Shirley Masterson, and Bobbie Parkes who provide homemade, delicious cookies whenever we ask, which the families are very appreciative. If any other bakers would like to join in or are interested in helping with these receptions on the day of, please contact Wendy Ketcham (wketcham@socal.rr.com), or Kathryn St. John (kathryn.stjohn@icloud.com), your assistance would be greatly appreciated.
