Good Shepherd - Week of June 21st, 2026

Sunday Worship

This summer, we are continuing our sermon series on the parables of Jesus. These short stories are simple enough to remember, but deep enough to unsettle us, challenge us, and reshape the way we see God, ourselves, and the world around us. Together, we'll listen closely to the stores Jesus told and ask what it means to receive his kingdom with open ears, honest hearts, and lives ready to respond. Join us at the 9am and 10:45am worship gatherings in person, or the livestream option directly from our website at (gspc.org).

Choir Corner

If you've ever gone on a long walk or hike, you may have used a sturdy walking stick or pole to help keep you steady. This week's anthem, The Staff of Faith, draws a comparison between the traveler's walking stick, made of unbending oak, to a believer's steadfast faith.
With words written by Thomas Lynch (1855) this modern-day arrangement by Craig Courtney is woven together with the more familiar, How Firm a Foundation, to emphasize our strong and steadfast faith in God.

Our chancel choir meets for rehearsal for the remainder of June on Thursdays at 7:00pm. If you’d like to join us, please email or speak to Dr. Binh Vu, binh@gspc.org or speak to a choir member after the first service.

Blankets of Love - Quilters

"Blankets of Love" has room for more people to come and help make blankets and quilts. You don't have to have prior experience just a heart for providing a warm blanket for local needy people. There is a lot of camaraderie and chatting when they work. It meets at the church on the second Monday of each month from 10am to noon. Come join us!

Welcome to Deacon's Corner - Health Ministry

Our next Blood Drive is July 7th, and we do have some openings so please give if you can.
