Pastor's Note | Saturday, January 6th
1After giving - and receiving! - presents Christmas morning, after eating Christmas dinner that night (with that extra slice of pie, because, "Why not? It's Christmas!"), after ringing in the New Year singing Auld Lang Syne, it's January 1st.
Again.
Perhaps January 1st feels just like December 31st, like the lyrics to that Death Cab for Cutie song:
So this is the New Year, and I don't feel any different.
Or perhaps January 1st is an invitation to start fresh, to start over, to start new. Especially if 2013 was a difficult year, for whatever reason, 2014 is a chance to begin again.
Maybe you've made a resolution or two. Or maybe not.
We want to invite you to make three reolutions this year. Maybe that's three more, adding onto the ones you've already made. Or maybe that will make three in total.
Either way, in our Sunday morning gatherings January 5th, 12th and 19th at 9 or 10:45am, we want to invite you to undertake three deeply spiritual practices that, we believe, can transform your 2014.
I look forward to seeing you soon.
Grace and Peace to you this year!
Curtis

Interesting ... I would guess these practices have to do with worship, prayer, and God's word ... but these are predictable ... and sometimes you are not. Therefore, the practices are anybody's guess. Grace and Peace also to you.
