Study Guide | Genesis 1.26-2.3

Hi friends,

Happy New Year! I hope and pray your holiday season allowed time to celebrate with family and friends. And yet, after the holidays, it's back to work!

Speaking of work, it's been estimated that the average American will work approximately 100,000 hours throughout their lifetime. And that doesn't include changing diapers, mowing the lawn or unloading the dishwasher! Truly, our lives are filled with work!

How are we to think of all this work? Is it just a result of Adam and Eve's sin? Or were we intended to engage in work all along?

This weekend we're beginning a brand new six-week series on faith and work entitled Every Good Endeavor. To do so, we're beginning in the beginning, studying God's creation of and call upon humanity in Genesis 1.26-2.3. Here is the study guide.

If you're interested in digging even deeper, at our gatherings this weekend we'll have a few copies of Pastor Tim Keller's book Every Good Endeavor (sound familiar!?) at a reduced price of $15, which will correspond with our study.

I look forward to seeing you and worshipping with you this weekend.

Grace and Peace,
Curtis
