Study Guide | Isaiah 28.23-29

Hi friends,

Greetings from Orlando!

Pastor Paul and I are currently attending the Fellowship of Presbyterians and Evangelical Covenant Order of Presbyterians national gathering all the way out here in Florida! These groups share a common mission of to building, planting and growing flourishing churches that make disciples of Jesus Christ.

We arrived yesterday afternoon and will be flying home tomorrow evening, as our Session has an all-day retreat on Saturday... It's a quick trip, though, we wanted to continue to be a part of the conversation about how we as members of God's church can best reach out to our community with the good news of God's Kingdom! Please be in prayer with us and for us during our time here.

I look forward to joining with you in worship this weekend, whether that be on Saturday at 5pm, Sunday at 8:45am or Sunday at 10:30am. What a blessing that we have so many opportunities to connect with God!

This weekend will be week five of our six-week series Every Good Endeavor, in which we're seeking to uncover what the Bible says about vocation so we can recover a disctinctly Christian understanding of work. Here's this week's study guide on Isaiah 28.23-29. It's a long one (sorry!), but I think it's an important in-depth study for us to engage in. The above study guide is three pages in letter size, but here's one in legal size that you can print two sided.

Blessings on your study! I look forward to seeing you this weekend as we discuss what it means that "Everyone Plays."

Grace and Peace,
Curtis
