Study Guide | Luke 2.22-35
Hi friends,
This weekend Pastor Paul will help us conclude our Christmas series Singing the Songs of the Season with one final rousing chorus from a righteous man who was waiting for "the consolation of Israel." When Jesus' parents presented him in the temple on the eighth day after his birth, Simeon - moved by the Spirit - sang aloud:
“Sovereign Lord, as you have promised,
you may now dismissd your servant in peace.
For my eyes have seen your salvation,
which you have prepared in the sight of all nations:
a light for revelation to the Gentiles,
and the glory of your people Israel.”
Here is the study guide on Luke 2.22-35. Blessings on your study!
Grace and Peace,
Curtis
