Study Guide | Rooted in Jesus

Hi friends,

The 20th century theologian Karl Barth was once asked what was the greatest theological statement he'd ever heard. His response was

Jesus loves me, this I know,
for the Bible tells me so.
Little ones to Him belong,
they are weak but He is strong.

Pretty much sums it up, huh!?

This weekend, we continue our series Rooted: In the Soil of a Vibrant, Growing Faith, in which we're (re)discovering the roots of biblical Christianity. After discussing Rooted in Scripture, we're digging into what it means to be Rooted in Christ this weekend.

Here is the study guide on Acts 3-4, in which Peter boldly declares to the religious leaders of his day,

Jesus is

'the stone you builders rejected,
which has become the cornerstone.'

Salvation is found in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given to mankind by which we must be saved.

Blessings as you study God's Word! I look forward to gathering with you on Saturday at 5pm, or Sunday at 8:45 or 10:30am to worship the Living Word, Jesus the Messiah!

Grace and Peace,
Curtis
