Our new Saturday evening worship opportunity for our congregation and community launched last weekend - and continues this Saturday, April 28th at 5pm in Zirbel Hall! Come to church Saturday! Then sleep in Sunday!

Pray for Persecuted Christians

Meet tomorrow, May 7th at 7pm in the Bride's Room to pray for our brothers and sisters in Christ who are being persecuted for their faith. All are welcome and encouraged to come. Additional prayer materials for persecuted Christians can be obtained from the kiosk carousel for your home use. Contact Ken at 562/594.6026 with questions.


Summer Camp at Forest Home

Don't let your 3rd-5th grader miss summer camp at Forest Home July 8th-13th. Cost: $300. Scholarships available!

Children's Choir Concert

Good Shepherd's Children's Choir is excited to present "Good Neighbor Sam," a children's musical, on Sunday, May 20th at 2pm. This retelling of the story of the Good Samaritan is a great way to spend an hour on a Sunday afternoon. The music is catchy, the characters are our own talented young people and the admission is free! Come and show your support for the singers!


Family BBQ

FLIPT is wrapping up with a giant family BBQ on Wednesday, May 30th. Don't miss it! The main course will be provided, you bring a dessert to share! RSVP to - and be sure to let her know what you're planning on bringing!

Serve the Children of Vacation Bible School 2012

We are collecting these items for VBS crafts: 1/2 gallon clean milk cartons, small twigs, new popsicle/craft sticks, medium smooth pebbles, tacky glue, cloth ribbon (any color), cardboard egg cartons, flat buttons and small shells. If you would like to donate these items, please drop them off in the church office with Sue Gilmore's name on them! Thank you!

Save Your Recycling

We continue to collect aluminum cans and plastic bottles for the Quinonez family. We have raised over $1150 so far! No glass please. Drop off by the storage bins on Sunday mornings.
