Upcoming Meetings

Hello Good Shepherd Friend,

I am writing to inform and remind you about two upcoming meetings. The first is a "Town Hall Meeting" scheduled for this Sunday, May 15th between worship gatherings (approximately 9:50 to 10:20am). This will be a time to hear from me about the recent denominational action to revise our Book of Order regarding ordination standards - what has been labeled Amendment 10-A.

It will be a time to hear answers to some of the major questions that this decision raises AND to field the questions you may have with regard to the shift in ordination standards that this amendment introduces.

Second, to remind you of the Congregational Meeting on Tuesday, May 17th at 7pm in the sanctuary. This is an important meeting and your attendance will help significantly. The business before is:

1. Rescind the current building project of April 2008 at an estimated cost of $4.4 million.
2. Discontinue the “Generation to Generation” capital campaign and end all pledge obligations.
3. Approve the proposed 2011 Campus Improvement Project Phase One at a cost not to exceed $240,000 and beginning June 1, 2011.
4. Launch a new 60-Day campaign to raise funds for the 2011 Campus Improvement Project Phase One.
