Any donation received during September will be matched by a member of our church (up to $5,000) and matched by Friends of Rising TIDE. Please write your check to Rising TIDE and bring it to the Rising TIDE table on the plaza on Sunday, September 21st or 28th. Inner city Long Beach kids thank you!
Faith at Four (45)
Join us on Wednesday, September 24th, for a two-part presentation as we watch the movie "Shadowlands." This film is about the spiritual crisis of C.S. Lewis when his wife died of cancer. The love, grief, pain, and sorrow challenged his basic Christian beliefs. We'll start at 4:45pm, then break for dinner on the plaza. After dinner we will finish the movie and follow up with a time of discussion lead by Diana Klimek.
Quilters
Quilters meet on the 2nd and 4th Mondays of the month at 10am in the Round Room #4. Their next meeting is on September 22nd.
Prime Time Luncheon
Join us on Thursday, September 25th at noon in Zirbel Hall for lunch as we welcome the Bridge Creek Band. You can sign up at the Senior Ministry table on the Plaza. Cost is $8.00
per person. Contact Carol Jaeger at carol@gspc.org or 562/493.2553 x105 with questions.
