Life Groups
Here at Good Shepherd our mission is to invite all people to grow into a Christ-Centered life in God's Family. We feel that we do that best when we go UP to God in Worship, IN to community with one another, and OUT to the world. Life Groups are designed to help us grow IN to community with one another as we join together - learning from God's Word and sharing life with one another. Contact Pastor Janae if you are interested and we would be happy to connect you with one that meets you, right where you are at!
Sermon Based Bible Study:
Each week, our Pastors put together a study guide that coincides with the sermon. Join in one of our study guide based group to dig deeper on what we are learning each week. There is a group that meets on Sunday mornings at 10:45am (Hybrid) or a Wednesday Night 6:30pm group (In-Person).
Stay Salt Book Study:
This is a short-term book study on "Stay Salt" by Rebecca Manley Pippert. This group will explore how we can gain confidence to share Jesus like Jesus - relevantly, thoughtfully and effectively.
Ephesians: Unity in Christ and How You Fit Into God's Plan of Salvation:
Taught by elder, Kirk Brown, this is a 14-week seminar style Bible Study using N.T. Wright's study guide on the book of Ephesians. This group meets on Sunday Nights, beginning September 17th from 6-8pm (Hybrid).
Moms Connect:
Every 1st and 3rd Wednesday morning beginning September 20th, from 9-10:30am, moms of all ages connect for fellowship and share the journey of mothering together. Childcare is availible.
Griefshare:
Those who are mourning the death of a loved one are invited to join the next session of GriefShare, a faith-based support group for comfort and healing. GriefShare begins on Tuesday, September 12th for Orientation/1st Session from 10am-12pm in the Patio Room and continues for an additional 12 weeks.
Outside Groups:
Good Shepherd also hosts a variety of outside programs here on campus. Every Friday morning we host women involved in Community Bible Study. We also host AA at 6:30pm on Thursays and 7pm on Fridays, as well as Al-Anon at 12pm Thursdays, 4pm and 5:15pm on Saturdays. Please call our Front Office if you would like more information on any of these outside groups.
