Good Shepherd - Week of January 25th, 2026

Sunday Worship
Join us this Sunday as we continue our sermon series on Prayer at the 9am and 10:45am worship gatherings in person, or the livestream option directly from our website at (gspc.org). Each week we will explore a different aspect of what it means to speak with God - how to pray, why we pray, and the life-changing power that comes with it.

2025 Financial Update...
As mentioned in last Sunday’s worship services, you helped Good Shepherd finish 2025 with a net income of $123,000 which was well ahead of our budgeted net loss of $211,000. Thank you for your continued sacrificial giving and faithful support.
Valentines for Kids
Did you know we have over 160 kids and youth here? One way we can partner together to show Jesus' love this Valentines Day is by writing valentine cards to our very own! Grab a list of names and return your valentine cards by Sunday, February 8th. If you are able to help sort or deliver cards, or need a list emailed, please contact Pastor Janae at janae@gspc.org.
Faith at Four (45)
Join us on Wednesday, January 28th at 4:45pm in the Choir Room for a time of discussion with Pastor DJ as we "look to the future". Plan to stay for dinner, worship, and classes afterwards.

Prime Time Day Trip - March 29th
Join us on Palm Sunday with a moving experience to prepare our hearts for Holy Week leading up to Easter Sunday. The Living Art Experience is inspired by the life of Christ and is a unique presentation through "living" reproductions of famous works of art. This theatrical masterpiece includes life-sized paintings and sculptures, live models within the art. The program will be narrated with an original script and presented with an inspirational musical score by an orchestra and vocal ensemble. We will leave the church parking lot at 12:45pm and return around 4:45pm via coach. The program starts at 2pm. Cost: $80.
Prime Time Day Trip - April 23rd
We're heading East to Palm Springs to the Living Desert Zoo and Gardens! Plan to join us on Thursday, April 23rd from 8am-6pm. Cost: $90. Set your alarm clocks for an early departure and join us as we experience the beauty of God's creation on this all day adventure. We'll experience the Zoo in a whole new way, with a guided Private Safari tour beginning at 10am and giraffe feeding with our personal guide. Lunch will be on your own at the Big Horn Cafe. After lunch you will have time to explore the many gardens and exhibits before leaving at 3pm. Sign up at the Senior Ministry table on the Plaza.
Blankets of Love - Quilters
Quilters meet once a month on the second Monday from 10am-12pm in the Round Room #4. If you are interested, experienced or not, you are welcome to join our efforts in sewing, knitting, or crocheting as we make blankets/quilts for children in need. We provide the materials and ideas, come provide the love! For more information contact Pauline Willems at 562/296.8216.
Precept Upon Precept - The Book of Revelation
Precept Class is held each Wednesday from 6:35-8pm in Room #4. The book of Revelation is an amazing opportunity to take the time to be with God and build a great relationship and learn about the end times. The group utilizes a workbook that can have up to five hours of homework per week. It will take us to many other parts of the Bible and will last almost two school years. Contact Jack Knutzen at 562/810.7808 or email at knutzen4@gmail.com for more information and to get the first workbook. Click the link here to get more information!
