Good Shepherd - Week of February 1st, 2026

Sunday Worship
Join us this Sunday as we continue our sermon series on Prayer at the 9am and 10:45am worship gatherings in person, or the livestream option directly from our website at (gspc.org). Each week we will explore a different aspect of what it means to speak with God - how to pray, why we pray, and the life-changing power that comes with it.

Valentines for Kids
Did you know we have over 160 kids and youth here? One way we can partner together to show Jesus' love this Valentines Day is by writing valentine cards to our very own! Grab a list of names and return your valentine cards by Sunday, February 8th. If you are able to help sort or deliver cards, or need a list emailed, please contact Pastor Janae at janae@gspc.org.
Moms Connect
The first and third Wednesday of each month moms with kids of all ages join together to connect with one another, grow deeper in our faith, and journey through the highs and lows of parenthood. Join us on Wednesday, February 4th from 9-10:30am in the Patio Room. Childcare is available.
Ash Wednesday Gathering
As we begin the season of Lent, all are invited to a special worship gathering on Ash Wednesday, February 18th, at 6:30pm in the Sanctuary. Children will spend some time learning about Ash Wednesday together before being invited to receive ashes. All youth are encouraged to attend worship. Dinner will not be served. Join in from home online at gspc.org.

Gleanings for the Hungry
Each year you may have heard the report about Gleanings for the Hungry and wondered if this ministry is right for you. This year Good Shepherd will send a team March 15th-20th to serve in the Central Valley. Shelf-stable food is packaged and distributed to impoverished areas around the world, free of charge, in the love of Jesus. Other opportunities include quilting, gardening, and maintaining the facility. Room and board are provided for a nominal donation. And the meals are delicious! We have space available for a few more people - join us for chapel, celebrations, and camaraderie! Interested or want more information? Contact Doug Johnson at dejohnson@verizon.net, or Roger Wiley at rogerwiley317@gmail.com by February 15th.
Cancer Support Group
Our next Cancer Support Group at Good Shepherd will be online on MONDAY, February 9th at 7pm, via Zoom. We now meet on the second Monday of each month. All cancer patients and their caregivers, past and present, are encouraged to join our group for support and prayer. A Zoom link will be sent out before the meeting. Please contact Heidi Butcher at 714/319.5040 with questions, or if you are new to the group so that we may add you to our email group distribution list.
