Session-Approved Action Items - March 15, 2016

You may recall a new practice we've begun this year in an effort to increase trust and transparency between Good Shepherd's congregation, staff, elders and deacons. As previously noted, we will be posting here on our blog Session's monthly approved action items.

Our leadership team met last night (a bit early this month, due to Holy Week), and approved the following action items.

1. Remove Loretta Fowler and Leo Neeleman from active membership and mark them as inactive in the church database.
2. Approve Women’s Ministry spring luncheon fundraisers: A raffle for a quilt (beginning April 3rd), and silent auction baskets. Also approve a flower bowl fundraiser for Mother’s Day with the proceeds going to support the Women’s Retreat.
3. Commission the AP3 Working Party, consisting of Elders Milt Houghton, Larry Creasey, and Kirk Brown, to assist Session in the construction of an Administrative Policies, Procedures and Practices Manual, to be affirmed and finalized by Session.
