Study Guide | Matthew 7.21-29

Hi friends,

This weekend we conclude our summer series Build Your House on That, by engaging Matthew 7.21-29! After 11 weeks, we encounter the inspiration behind our series title, as Jesus says,

Everyone who hears these words of mine and puts them into practice is like a wise man who built his house on the rock. The rain came down, the streams rose, and the winds blew and beat against that house; yet it did not fall, because it had its foundation on the rock.

Jesus' initial hearers were amazed by the authority of His message, though He wasn't just seeking to impress them, He was inviting them to follow Him! May we heed His invitation, not only hearing His words, but applying them to our lives, too!
