The Letter to the Hebrews

Hi friends,

I hope this finds you well in this Lenten season, as we journey toward the Resurrection! I encourage you to be thinking about those you know who need to hear the good news of Easter and to pray for an opportunity to invite them to one of our Easter worship gatherings.

We've been journeying through the Gospel of Mark for 14 months now, and will conclude that series on Easter Sunday. The following Sunday, May 1st, we'll begin a new study: the Letter to the Hebrews.

Hebrews emphasizes the importance of hearing the Word of God in Scripture and in the preached Word, as well as the good news that Jesus is the only sacrifice needed for a relationship with God. As such, it's anonymous writer tells us, we are the now priests in the new covenant of grace!
