Self Help Interfaith Program, an outreach to those struggling with homelessness in Orange County, is returning to Good Shepherd June 30th through July 13th. Sign up on the patio to be a dinner host or a night host. Anyone interested in learning more about serving can attend one of two meetings scheduled for Wednesday, June 6th at 7pm or Thursday, June 14th at 7pm in the Fireside Room. Pray for Persecuted Christians

O.C. Sheriff Department Offers Free Crime Seminar
Due to the recent surge of burglaries and thefts occurring in Rossmoor, the O.C. Sheriff Department Investigations Division will be hosting a Crime Seminar on Tuesday, June 5th from 6:30-8pm in the sanctuary. The meeting will cover the following topics: recent crime statistics, trends in criminal activity, recent arrests made and tips on protecting your property. Everyone is welcome.

“Mystery Theater Dinner”
For a murderously magnificent time, join us for an evening of mystery, dinner, comedy and murder on Friday, June 29th at 6pm. Cost is only $55 for dinner, show, tax, valet parking and tip. Location: The Reef Restaurant on the water in Long Beach. Contact the church office for reservations or sign up at the Senior Adult table. Please pay when you sign up.
Monthly Luncheon
Join us on Wednesday, June 20th at Noon in Zirbel Hall. Joe Dobrick, Board Certified Hearing Instrument Specialist, will present information on the latest hearing aids and digital technology. Cost: $5. Sign up at the Senior Adult table Sunday.

Our friends at the Way Out send tons of love and thanks for your generous support of their summer camp program. Many of you nodded your heads and also dug deep into your wallets, raising almost $3,000! Wow! If you missed out, $1100 is still needed to reach our goal. Contact Bill Irish or Robin Turner. Vacation Bible School 2012
We are collecting these items for VBS crafts: 1/2 gallon clean milk cartons, small twigs, new popsicle/craft sticks, medium smooth pebbles, tacky glue, cloth ribbon (any color), cardboard egg cartons, flat buttons and small shells. If you would like to donate these items, please drop them off in the church office with Sue Gilmore's name on them! Thank you!
Save Your Recycling
We continue to collect aluminum cans and plastic bottles for the Quinonez family. No glass please. Drop off by the storage bins on Sunday mornings.
